Contrebasse :

Placez le microphone à environ 40 cm de l’une des ouïes. Si la contrebasse doit être enregistrée au sein d’un ensemble instrumental, réduisez la distance et sélectionnez la caractéristique de directivité hy- percardioïde, pour éviter que d’au- tres instruments n’interfèrent sur le microphone de la contrebasse.

Violoncelle/variante 1 :

Voir la contrebasse.

Violoncelle/variante 2 :

Un microphone de proximité comme dans la variante 1, auquel on adjoint un microphone d’am- biance. Le niveau du microphone de proximité est plus bas d’environ

20 dB que celui du microphone d’ambiance.

Nous recommandons l’utilisation de deux microphones.

Placez à une distance de 20 à 30 cm un C 414 dirigé sur la ro- sace. Placez en outre, à une dis- tance d’environ un mètre, un microphone à petite membrane (comme par exemple un C 451B), dirigé vers le chevalet ou vers l’ar- rière de la caisse.
