Installing or removing the memory (MEM) card

The DECT 4027 and 4070 Handsets are equipped with a removable memory (MEM) card used to personalise your handset.

When an empty MEM card is inserted, the configuration of the handset is copied to the MEM card. But the DECT subscriptions of the handset are moved to the MEM card, to ensure that two handsets may never have the same subscriptions on both of them.

When inserting a MEM card with the configuration of some other 4027 or 4070 handset that configuration will be used. The parameters stored in the handset memory are not affected (including the existing subscriptions, if they are in the handset memory and not on a MEM card).

Any configuration changes or new contacts, messages, call entries, calendar items and call filter items added after installing a MEM card are only stored on the MEM card and not in the handset memory. The parameters that are stored in the handset memory remain intact and are
