Directory Number (DN)

A number that consists of one to seven digits for a telephone. Also known as an extension number.

Fixed key

The hard-labelled keys on your telephone.

Flexible Feature Code (FFC)

Specialised codes entered using the dialpad that enable features (for example, Ring Again).

Key lock

A feature used to disable key input and prevent accidental operation.

Long Press

Press and hold a key for 2 seconds and then release it.

MEM card

A removable memory card (storage device) for contacts, messages, call logs, and subscriptions.

SIP DECT

Nortel VoIP DECT system that uses the SIP protocol to establish calls.
