Verifying File Configuration

You can verify the content and the status of the switch’s configuration files with commands listed in the following table.

show configuration status

Displays whether there is a pending timer session scheduled for a con-

 

 

figuration file and indicates whether the running configuration and the

 

saved configuration files are identical or different. This command also

 

displays the number of error files that will be held in the flash directory.

 

 

 

show configuration snapshot

Generates a snapshot file of the switch’s non-default current running

 

configuration. A snapshot can be generated for all current network fea-

 

tures or for one or more specific network features. A snapshot is a sin-

 

gle text file that can be viewed, edited, and reused as a configuration

 

file.

 

 

 

write terminal
