Setting the BBE Mode

BBE makes vocals or instruments sound distinct regardless of the music source. The FM radio, CD, and MP3, will be able to reproduce the music clearly even in cars with a lot of road noise.

1Press SOURCE/POWER to select the source to which you want to apply BBE.

2 Press and hold the Rotary encoder for at least 2 seconds to activate the level setting mode.

3Turn the BBE setting on by pressing the Rotary encoder.

4Turn the Rotary encoder to select your preferred level (BBE 1 to 3) or OFF.

5Press and hold the Rotary encoder for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.

To cancel BBE mode for all music sources, press the Rotary encoder to turn BBE off.

BBE mode is automatically canceled if no buttons are pressed within 15 seconds.

Each music source, such as FM radio, CD, and MP3/WMA can have its own BBE setting.

This function is inoperable when DEFEAT is set to ON.

There is no BBE mode for AM radio.

When an external audio processor is connected, this setting cannot be made.
