Using the AUX Input Terminal (CDE-9874E only)

Connect a portable music player, etc. by simply connecting it to the input on the front panel. An optional adapter cable is required (standard RCA to 3.5ø mini-phono plug or 3.5ø to 3.5ø mini phono plug).

Press SOURCE/ , and select the AUX mode to listen to the portable device.

1 Press and hold SOUND/SETUP (CDE-9874E only) or MUTE/SETUP (CDE-9872E only) for at least 2 seconds to activate the SETUP mode.

2 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9874E only) or

press and (CDE-9872E only) to select the desired SETUP menu, and then press / /ENT.

3 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9874E only) or press

and (CDE-9872E only) to change the setting.

(e.g. Select SUBW ON or SUBW OFF.)

4 Press and hold SOUND/SETUP (CDE-9874E only) or MUTE/SETUP (CDE-9872E only) for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.

Press /MUTE (CDE-9874E only) or /AUDIO (CDE-9872E only) to return to the previous mode.

If no operation is performed for 60 seconds, the unit will return to normal mode automatically.
