Search Function

1 Touch [] on the function guide while in the CD or MP3/WMA mode.

Search list screen is displayed.

Select a desired track or folder.

Touch [ ] for direct playback.

When a hierarchical list is prepared, [ ] will be displayed. Touch [ ] to display the respective hierarchy list screens.

Display Example for Search Screen

Select directly by touching [], and its Track (or folder/ file) is played back.

Scrolls the page list up or down.

(Displayed when the list items cannot be displayed entirely.)

Scrolls the list item by item.

Touching and holding will scroll continuously.

(Displayed when the list items cannot be displayed entirely.)

GlideTouch bar display

For operation, refer to “About the GlideTouch bar” (page 12).

(Displayed when the list items cannot be displayed entirely.)

Touch [RTN] to return to the previous list screen. [ ] is displayed if there is a hierarchical list.

The search function does not work on the DVD, video CD or CD changer.

A folder list is displayed only during MP3/WMA playback when the DVD player (DVA-5210) or changer compatible with MP3 is connected.

Internal CD player mode

1The track list* screen appears.

*If the CD is text compatible only.

2Touch [] of a desired track text*.

The selected track will be played back.

“TRACK” is displayed in the track text list if there is no text on the disc.

Internal MP3/WMA Player/external MP3-compatible DVD Player/Changer Mode

1The folder list screen appears.

Select a desired folder and then touch [ ].

([ ] appears only when a file is present in the selected folder.)

The file list screen is displayed.

Touch [] to play back the folder directly.

2Touch [] of a desired file name. The selected file will be played back.

Rear Selection Function

While listening to the radio or other audio source, at the same time, pictures in a disc inserted in the IVA-D100 can be enjoyed in the rear monitor. However, only pictures are output, not sound.

1 Press SETUP.

The SETUP selection screen is displayed.

2 Touch [] of REAR SELECT.

Rear Select display appears.

This function cannot be used when “Setting the Picture Output” (page 36) is set to OFF in the SYSTEM SETUP.

3 Touch [] of the desired source such as visual

(auxiliary input, built-in DVD, etc.) to select.

Touch [OFF] to cancel the rear entertainment function.

When the “Setting the AUX Mode” (page 35) is set to OFF, the auxiliary source is not displayed.

Switching Display Modes

After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of “To display the DVD mode Screen” explained on page 28, perform the operation described below.

While your vehicle is parked, touch [WIDE] on the visual source screen or press BAND on the unit.

Each touch changes the display modes as follows:

MODE 1 MODE 2 MODE 3 MODE 1 (WIDE) (CINEMA) (NORMAL) (WIDE)

In Mode 1 (Wide), the monitor displays a normal picture wider to fit in a wide-screen monitor by evenly stretching out the picture horizontally.
