6.ASUS EZ-Backup Serial ATA connectors (7-pin EZ_RAID1 [orange], EZ_RAID2 [orange])

These connectors are for the ASUS EZ-Backup feature. Connect Serial ATA signal cables that support Serial ATA hard disk drives to build a RAID 0 or RAID 1 set easily. Refer to Chapter 5 for details on how to build an EZ‑Backup RAID set.

You may create a RAID 10 set through a cross-RAID configuration by installing three hard disk drives on the ICH7R Serial ATA connectors, and one hard disk drive on EZ_RAID1. See section “5.4.5 Cross-RAID configuration for details.

7.MP3-In connector (4-pin MP3IN [red])������

This connector is for the MP3-In module that allows you to connect your MP3 player to the speakers of the computer. For more information, refer to the MP3-In Module Quick Installation Guide or the ASUS FrontLinker™ user guide.

•The MP3-In module is bundled with the motherboard package if the motherboard does not include the ASUS FrontLinker™. Connect the cable to the MP3IN connector, and enjoy music from computer speakers even when the PC is turned off.
