This indicator is lit when the handset is off-hook. (The ON icon on the handset is also lit.)

This indicator is lit when the battery is charging and the handset is properly placed on the base.

This indicator is lit when you have a message. (MSG also appears on handset display.)

For adjusting the base’s ringing volume. Press the left button to decrease the ringer volume; press the right button to increase the ringer volume.

Note: When the handset is on the base, only the base rings. Both ring when the handset is out of the base.

For writing the extension number (using a pencil or ballpoint pen only). Do NOT use a felt-tip pen.

This is the ringer located in the base.

For hanging up the handset in the base.

For charging the handset when contact is made with the charging base.

For connecting the power cord to your telephone. This cord is then plugged into a wall outlet. This jack is located on the other side of the base.
