INSTALLATION
Plug the keyboard’s USB connector into a rectangular USB port on your computer or into a USB hub or USB extension cable. If the connector does not mate to the computer port, the orientation might be wrong and you should try turning the connector 180 degrees.
After you plug the keyboard connector into the computer the first time, give the computer time to recognize the keyboard and to call up the drivers it needs from the operating system on your computer. No special application software is used, and therefore no diskette or CD is included with the keyboard. The OnBoard Travel Keyboard uses standard operating system drivers already on your computer.
If you are using Windows Vista, XP, or 2000, usually there is an onscreen indication of this installation activity such as a small pop up window. WAIT PATIENTLY AND DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS, as several separate driver installation steps may be needed in order to complete installation. If you are using Windows 98SE or ME, a manual set up wizard may appear. It might prompt you to navigate to the location of the drivers, which may be on your hard drive or may require you to place your original Windows operating system CD into your
