Daisy-chained Installations
In a daisy-chained installation (see page 25) the default port list will show CHAIN in the TYPE column, and KM0432 CHAIN in the NOTE column next to port 01.
Note: 1. KM0432 CHAIN will display in the NOTE column even if KM0216 are the only switches daisy-chained from the first level KM0832.
2.With a daisy-chained installation, KVM ports 1–4 on the first level KM0832 cannot be used. Do not connect any switches or KVM adapter cables to these ports.
Double-click port 01, or move the highlight bar to it, and then press [Enter] to view a the list of the daisy-chained switches in the installation. A maximum of 7 additional KM0432, or KM0216 switches can be daisy-chained from the first level KM0832.
