Reducing Edge Distortion
Whenusing a television for your PC’s display, you may see some edge distortion
onthe left and right side of your televisionscreen. This effect depends on your
televisionand the PC application you are running.
Toreduce edge distortion, you can increase the horizontal size.
ToIncrease the Horizontal Size
1StartWindows®.
2ClickStart.
3Pointto Settings, then click ControlPanel.
4Double-clickDisplay.
5ClickontheATIDisplays tab.
Windows®98/ Me / 2000 users: Click on the Settings tab and then the
Advanced button,before clicking the ATI Displays tab.
6ClickontheTVbutton.
7ClickontheAdjustmentstab.
8Clickon the plus (+) button under Horizontal Screen to increase the horizontal
size of the televisiondisplay.
9ClickOK or Ap ply to save the changes you havemade.
Youcan also reduce edge distortion by reducing the brightness.
ToChange the Brightness

2ClickStart.
3Pointto Settings, then click ControlPanel.
4Double-clickDisplay.
5ClickontheATIDisplays tab.

7Dragthe Brightness slider to the left todecrease the brightness.
8ClickOK or Ap ply to save the changes you havemade.
Changing Display Configurations
Ifyou move your computer to a place where you are using television display
only,make sure that you have the television display feature enabled; see
Enabling and Disabling the TelevisionDisplay on page 5.
