Setting the Password and Rating

Most DVDs are rated by an 8-point grading level. The player will not permit a disc to be played if the disc is rated at a number higher than that set. A password must be entered in order to change the rating level currently set. Once the correct password has been entered you can change the rating level or disable this function.

Password protection is not set into the machine by the manufacturer. You are recommended to set the password soon after you purchase your player for convenience of use later. Re- member that only by using a password can the view rating level be changed. Instruction on setting the password follows:
