Selecting a value between 2 and 7 will permit the viewing of DVDs rated at or below the set value only.

LEVEL 1: Most Restrictive (suitable for viewing by all fam-
ily members)
Selecting a value of 1 will only permit those DVDs rated
as suitable for all ages to be played on your player.

7 System Setup (V) - Ratings
The rating of each DVD is encoded by the manu- facturer and it is this code that is read by the player. Run System Setup on the player to set the default limitation level. When playing a DVD in which the level was set higher by the publisher than the default level you set to the player, the program will not be played.
