Manually Configuring your Router
Changing LAN Settings
All settings for the internal L AN setup of the Router can be vi ewed and changed
here.
LAN Settings
Clicking on the header of the LA N tab (A) will take you to the LAN ta b’s header
page. A quick description of the fu nctions can be found here. To view the set tings
or make changes to any of the LAN set tings, click on “LAN Set tings” (B) or to view
the list of connected computer s, click on “DHCP Client List ” (C).
IP Address
The “IP address” is the internal IP a ddress of the Router. The default IP a ddress
is “192.168.2.1”. To access the advanced setup inter face, type this IP addre ss
into the address bar of your browser. This a ddress can be changed if ne eded. To
change the IP address, type in t he new IP address and click “Apply Ch anges”. The
IP address you choose should be a n on-routable IP. Examples of a non- routable IP
are:
192.168.x.x (where x is anything between 0 and 255)
10.x.x.x (where x is anything between 0 and 255)
Subnet Mask
There is no need to change the sub net mask. This is a unique, adva nced feature of
your Belkin Router.
