Product Availability Guidelines

The following legal and regulatory guidelines apply when providing DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service – 2 Wire ISDN/BRI:

1.BellSouth will make DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service - 2-Wire ISDN/BRI available on a conversion basis in all areas in all states where the end-user customer has BellSouth Basic Rate ISDN or the CLEC resale offering. Pricing for this offering will be at negotiated DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service Rates, unless otherwise ordered by a regulatory authority.

2.BellSouth will make DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service - 2-Wire ISDN/BRI available as a new installation in all areas in all states where facilities permit. Pricing for this offering will be at negotiated DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service Rates, unless otherwise ordered by a regulatory authority.

3.Existing flat rate retail services may be converted to a measured rate service.

4.End Users with BellSouth special calling/billing plans that switch to a CLEC service provider that utilizes DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service to provide service will lose the BellSouth calling/billing plan.

5.BellSouth end-users under Rate Stability Contracts that switch to a CLEC service provider that utilizes DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service to provide service will be responsible for tariff and/or contractual liabilities.

6.DS0 Wholesale Local Platform Service lines are not available for purchase or for conversion from Special Access or Private Line Circuits, if such network elements will be used to provide wireless telecommunications services.”
