Microwave Oven Owner’s Manual

	Cubed	4 potatoes	Peel, cut into 1 inch	P 10	10 to 14
	White	(6 to 8 oz	cubes, 2 quart casserole
		each)	with 1/3 cup water. Stir
			after halfway through
			cooking time.
Spinach		10 to 16 oz	2 quart casserole, place	P 10	5 to 8
			washed spinach.
Squash	Summer	1 lb sliced	1-1½ quart casserole,	P 10	5 to 7
	and		add ¼ cup water.
	Yellow
	Winter	1 to 2	Cut in half and remove	P 10	9 to 12
	Acorn or	squash	fibrous membranes.
	Butternut	(about 1 lb	2 quart oblong glass
		each)	baking dish, place
			squash cut side down.
			Cover with plastic
			wrap. Turn cut side up
			after half time.
Turnips		1 lb cubed	In 1-1½ quart	P 10	6 to 9
			casserole, add 3
			tablespoons water.
