TRAFFIC INFORMATION MEMORY
Traffic Information Memory (TIM)
This car radio is able to digitally record up to four traffic messages with a total length of four minutes. The system will record the messages even when it is switched off. It is necessary to activate the TIM function first.
Damage to an automatic power antenna
When the TIM function is switched on, the power antenna will remain ex- tended. Before you drive into a car wash, be sure to deactivate the TIM function and then switch off the ra- dio.
Switching TIM off/on
➮Press MENU 8.
➮Press

➮Once you have completed the set- ting, press MENU 8 or OK ;.
Retrieving TIM messages
When the TIM function is activated, all of the traffic messages received on the radio station you were listening to will be stored automatically. If the radio can no longer pick up the station you were tuned into, it will automatically select a new station.
