Selecting tracks using the joystick
To move up or down to another track in the current directory,
➮move the joystick 8 to the right for the next track or to the left for the previous track until the number of the track that you want appears in the display.
If you press the joystick 8 to the left once, the current track will be played again from the beginning.
Fast searching (audible)
To fast search backwards or forwards,
➮press and hold down the joystick 8to the left or right until fast searching backwards/forwards be- gins.
Scanning tracks (SCAN)
You can briefly play (scan) all the tracks on the CD.
➮Press and hold down the joystick OK 8for longer than two sec- onds.
The subsequent tracks on the CD are briefly played in ascending order.
Note:
●You can set the scanning time. For further details, please read the section entitled ÒSetting the scan- ning timeÓ in the ÒRadio modeÓ chapter.
Cancelling SCAN and continuing listening to a track
To cancel scanning,
➮press the joystick OK 8.
The currently scanned track will then continue to be played normally.
Random track play (MIX)
To play the tracks in the current direc- tory in random order,
➮press the softkey 5assigned to the ÒMIXÓ display item.
ÒMIX DIRÓ appears in the display.
To play the tracks contained in all the directories on the inserted
➮press the softkey 5assigned to the ÒMIXÓ display item again.
ÒMIX CDÓ appears in the display.
Cancelling MIX
To cancel MIX,
➮repeatedly press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒMIXÓ display item until ÒMIX OFFÓ appears in the display.
Repeating individual tracks or whole directories (REPEAT)
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the ÒREPEATÓ display item.
ÒREPEAT TRACKÓ appears briefly in the display.
To repeat the whole directory,
➮press the softkey 5assigned to the ÒREPEATÓ display item again.
