PRECAUTIONS
–When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following.
–Read all the instructions carefully before using the appli- ance for the first time. Failure to observe the instructions and safety precautions may cause a hazard.
–After unpacking, check the appliance for damage. Do not use it if you are not sure; instead, contact your retailer.
–Keep the packaging material (cardboard, plastic bags, etc.) out of the reach of children (danger of asphyxiation or injury).
–This hand mixer is intended for household use only. Do not use it outdoors.
–Do not place the appliance on or next to hot gas or elec- tric burners or in a heated oven.
–The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injury arising from inappropriate or improper use. Use the appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed.
–Do not let children play with the appliance.
–Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is used by children or persons unfamiliar with it.
–This appliance is not suitable for use by young children or infirm persons unless closely supervised by a responsible person who can ensure its safe use.
–Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands. Do not touch the cord or plug with wet hands.
–Do not use any accessory attachment not recommended by the appliance manufacturer. This may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
–To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the motor unit in water. Remember that your hand mixer is an electrical appliance.
–Clean the appliance using a damp cloth only.
–Set the speed control to «0» and unplug the cord from the wall outlet to isolate the appliance.
–When unplugging the cord from the wall outlet, grasp the plug, not the cord.
–Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
–Disconnect the hand mixer from the mains whenever it is not being used, before attaching or removing accessories or when cleaning it.
