METAL
BOSS METAL This is a metal sound suited to heavy
riffs.
5150 DRIVE This models the lead channel of a
Peavey EVH 5150.
METAL LEAD This is a lead sound suited to metal.
EDGE LEAD This is a sharp sound suited for lead
play.

GAIN

0–120 Adjusts the distortion of the amp.

BASS

0–100 Adjusts the tone for the low frequency
range.

MIDDLE

0–100 Adjusts the tone for the middle fre-
quency range.

TREBLE

0–100 Adjusts the tone for the high frequency
range.

PRESENCE

0–100 Adjusts the tone for the ultra high fre-
quency range.
LEVEL
0–100
Adjusts the volume of the entire
preamp.
* Be careful not to raise the Level setting
too high.

BRIGHT

Turns the bright setting on/off.
* The BRIGHT parameter setting is only partially available
with some JC CLEAN, TW CLEAN, CRUNCH, or BG
LEAD settings in Preamp Type.
OFF Bright is not used.
ON Bright is switched on to create a lighter
and crisper tone.

GAIN SW

LOW,
MIDDLE,
HIGH
Provides for selection from three levels
of distortion: LOW, MIDDLE, and
HIGH.
Distortion will successively increase
for settings of LOW, MIDDLE and
HIGH.
* The sound of each Type is created on the
basis that the Gain is set to MIDDLE.
So, normally set it to MIDDLE.

SP TYPE (Speaker Type)

Select the speaker type.
OFF This turns off the speaker simulator.
