Engaging the Blades
Engage the Blades by pulling UP on the Blade Control Knob (Figure 1 on page 12).
Stopping the Blades
Push DOWN on the Blade Control Knob (Figure 1 on page 12).
Adjusting the Mower Deck Height
•SHUT OFF THE ENGINE BEFORE ADJUSTING THE DECK HEIGHT OR SERIOUS INJURY MAY RESULT. THE BLADES MAY SEVER YOUR FOOT IF IT STICKS UNDER THE DECK WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING.
•NEVER GET OFF THE TOW VEHICLE WITHOUT FIRST STOPPING THE BLADES AND SHUTTING OFF THE TOW VEHICLE ENGINE AND THE
The
KEEP YOUR FOOT CLEAR OF THE MOWER DECK WHEN ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT. YOU MAY PINCH YOUR FOOT IF IT STICKS UNDER THE DECK.
To change the cutting height, apply foot pressure to the Step & Mow™ Height Adjuster (Figure 14) and at the same time, lift up on the spring loaded Deck Height Adjust Knob (Figure 14) and
