Buckle Removal

1 Fully recline the child restraint.

2 Locate two metal buckle strap retainers on bottom of the seat.

3 Pull each retainer away from child restraint to loosen.

4 Turn each retainer so that the

short side will go through the slot in the seat shell (fig. A).

5Push the retainer through slots in the shell and cover to the front of the seat

Rethreading the Buckle

1 Locate the buckle slots.

2 Turn each buckle retainer so that the short side will go through the slot in the cover and seat shell (fig. A).

3 Push each buckle retainer through the slots.

4Make sure the plastic strips are kept on the upper surface of the shell to keep the straps from falling through the slots.

5Pull buckle away from seat until tight, then verify that the strap is not twisted and the release button is facing outward.
