Using the automatic docum ent feeder (ADF)

You can send faxes, copy and scan from the ADF (automatic

document feeder).

■Make sure original documents written with ink are completely dry.

■The original documents t o be faxed must be from 5.8 to 8.5

inches wide and 3.9 to 14 inches long.

■Make sure you place the origin al documents face down, top

edge first.

■Adjust the paper guides to fit the width of your original

documents.
