Using this Guide
Throughout this Guide you’ll see special symbols alerting you to
important warnings, not es and actions. Special fonts identify keys
you should press, messages that appear on the LCD, and
important points or related t opics.

Contents. You will be a ble to find informat ion about a specific

Bold Bold typeface identifie s specific keys on the fax
machine control panel.
Italics Italicized typeface emphasizes an important
point or refers you to a relate d topic.
Courier Courier typeface identifies the messages on the
LCD of the fax machine.
Warnings inform you what to do to avoi d possible personal
injury.
Electrical Hazards alert yo u to a possible electrical shock .
Cautions specify procedures you must follow or avoid to
prevent possible dam age to the fax mach ine.
Notes tell you how you should respond to a situation that may
arise or give tips about how the current operation works with
other features.
Improper Setup alerts you t o devices and operat ions that are
not compatible with the fax machine.
