power to energize the dehumidify terminal on the cooling equipment when the dry contact is closed.

If it is desired to operate a ventilator or other device, the D1 and D2 terminals can be connected directly to the equipment. This will provide a closed contact for the specified number of minutes per hour. See Option 19.

If timed control of the system blower is required, the dry contact can be used for this function. The G terminal can be connected to one of the dry contact terminals with the other terminal being connected to Rc and/or Rh for timed control of the fan. Note that this is not the same as programmable fan Option 30.

See Wiring Diagrams for more information.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the display module doesn’t power up after power is applied, check the Rc/Rh and C terminals for 24VAC. If 24VAC is present, check the voltage between Vg and V+. This voltage will be approximately 12-20VDC. If voltage is present, check the polarity to make sure it is wired correctly. The display will not power up if polarity is reversed.

Error Codes

-- - If Thermidistat Control cannot properly read room temperature, display will indicate “--” and all outputs (except fan, if on) will turn off. In the case where the installer has selected to average the local sensor and the remote room sensor, the Thermidistat Control display will alternate between “--” for the failed sensor and the temperature sensed by the working sensor every 10

A07048, A07049 specifications

The Bryant A07049 and A07048 are notable entries in the line of ductless mini-split systems designed for efficient heating and cooling. These models are well-regarded for their robust performance and innovative features that cater to both residential and light commercial applications.

One of the main features of the Bryant A07049 and A07048 is their advanced inverter technology. This technology allows the units to modulate their compressor speed, resulting in a more consistent indoor temperature. By adjusting cooling or heating output based on real-time demand, the units enhance energy efficiency while providing quiet operation and improved comfort.

The cooling capacity of the Bryant A07049 is rated at 7,000 BTUs, making it suitable for medium-sized rooms, whereas the A07048 has a slightly lower capacity, ideal for smaller spaces. Both models excel in providing rapid temperature control, allowing users to enjoy their desired environment swiftly. The quiet operation is a significant advantage, with sound levels as low as 24 decibels, making them perfect for bedrooms, offices, or other noise-sensitive environments.

Installation flexibility is another remarkable characteristic of the Bryant A07049 and A07048. Their ductless design eliminates the need for extensive ductwork, simplifying installation processes. Both models come with easy-mount wall brackets, and the refrigerant lines can be run through a small, discreet opening in the wall, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the living space.

Energy efficiency is a standout feature of these models, boasting high Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) ratings. This high-efficiency operation not only reduces energy bills but also minimizes environmental impact. Additionally, both models include a built-in programmable thermostat that allows users to schedule their heating and cooling preferences, enhancing convenience and further optimizing energy use.

The Bryant A07049 and A07048 also feature a multi-stage filtration system. This advanced filtration captures dust, allergens, and other particulate matter, promoting cleaner air circulation which is particularly beneficial for those with allergies or respiratory conditions.

In summary, the Bryant A07049 and A07048 mini-split systems deliver versatility, energy efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Their modern design, quiet performance, and advanced technologies make them excellent choices for individuals or businesses looking to enhance comfort while being mindful of energy consumption. Whether used for supplementary heating or cooling, these units are engineered to meet a variety of climate control needs effectively.
