16 Using the phone

IMPORTANT

Emergency calls cannot be made while the keypad is locked. You will need to unlock the keypad before you can dial out.

If a call is made to a number already in the list, the previous occurrence will be deleted.

If a call is made to a number which is stored in the directory, the name will be displayed instead, see ‘Directory’, on page 18.

Keypad lock

Lock the keypad to prevent any accidental button presses or dialling of numbers. You can still answer calls while the keypad is locked; the keypad will remain unlocked for the duration of the call.

1. Press and hold to lock the keypad. The display shows

Keypad Locked and the icon.

2.To unlock the keypad select Unlock, then press within 2 seconds.

Redial

The last 20 phone numbers you have dialled are saved to the redial list. You can select any of the numbers to redial, delete or copy to the directory. Once the list is full and a new call is made, the oldest call is replaced.

Redial a number from the redial list

1.Press to enter the redial list. The most recently dialled number is displayed.

2.Use or to scroll through the list until the number you want to redial is displayed.

3.Press to redial the number.
