IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

3. | Always remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning |

4. | Always allow the grill plates to cool completely before |
| cleaning the grill plates or removing the internal drip tray. |
5. | To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, |
| or panini grill base in water or other liquid. |
6. | Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used |
| by or near children. |
7. | Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. |
| Allow to cool completely before assembling or removing parts. |
8. | Before storing the unit, allow it to cool completely before |
| attempting to remove the removable internal drip tray, |
| attempting to clean the unit or store the unit. The power |
| supply cord should be disconnected before storing the unit. |
9. | Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug |
| or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged |
| in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized |
| service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. |
10. | The use of accessory attachments not recommended by |
| Calphalon may cause injuries. |
11. | Do not use outdoors. |
12. | The power cord must be fully unwound from the cord wrap |
| when in use. |
13. | Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch |
| hot surfaces. |
14. | Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric, or induction |
| burner, or in a heated oven. |
15. | Do not operate the panini grill on any surface that may be |
