I diffusori attivi AS10 si possono utilizzare laddove non si desideri avere un tastierino sistemato a parete. I diffusori attivi AS10 dispongono di un ricevitore IR e di un amplificatore situati in uno dei diffusori e, come il tastierino KP10, non richiedono un'alimentazione esterna.

1.Utilizzando un singolo cavo di Categoria 5E, connettere l'AS10-A all'AH10/VH10 tramite uno spinotto RJ45 all'AH10, e il connettore a 8 vie, con codice colorato e punzonato, all'AS10-A.

La connessione a spinotto RJ45 a livello del concentratore dev'essere cablata in conformità alla norma EIA/TIA568A, come illustrato dalla guida di cablaggio alla pagina 6.

La connessione in Categoria 5 dall'AH10 all'AS10-A non deve eccedere la lunghezza di 30 m (100 piedi).

2.L'AS10-A viene quindi connesso all'AS10-P utilizzando sia un cavo di Categoria 5e, terminato con connettori a colorazione codificata e punzonati a 8 vie (tutti e 8 i conduttori devono essere connessi), sia un normale cavo da diffusori.

Ènecessario un solo metodo di connessione tra il diffusore attivo e quello passivo.
