Shooting in Various Conditions

yTake shots of aquatic life in an aquarium (Aquarium)

Lets you take natural-colored shots of aquatic life in indoor aquariums.

OTake shots of foliage (Foliage)

Lets you shoot trees and leaves, such as new growth, autumn leaves or blossoms, in vivid colors.

PTake shots of people in snow (Snow)

Lets you take bright, natural-colored shots of people against snowy backgrounds.

ZShoot using high ISO speed (ISO 3200)

Lets you set the ISO speed to 3200, and lets you shoot without camera shake or subject blurring even in low light conditions.

Recording pixels are set to (1600 x 1200 pixels, p. 69).

In F, V, H, S or y mode, images may appear coarse because the ISO speed (p. 71) is increased to match the shooting conditions.

In t mode, attach the camera to a tripod to prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image. Additionally, you are recommended to set [IS Mode] to [Off] (p. 138).

In Z mode, images may appear coarse.
