Setting the Image Size, Quality and Frame Rate (Video)

MPEG-4
(1) [Video Quality]
Select a desired quality from 1 to 5 (total 5 levels) for video transmitted in MPEG-4.
The greater the value, the higher the quality becomes.
(2) [Video size]
Select [320 x 240] or [640 x 480] for the size of video transmitted.
(3) [Capture Frame Rate]
Select [10], [15] or [30] (fps) as the capture frame rate.
Note
zIf a higher video size or quality is set, the data size per frame will increase and the network
load will increase.
JPEG : The frame rate may drop.
MPEG-4 : Video may be temporarily disrupted.
zThe data size may increase depending on the type or movement of the subject. If the frame
rate remains low or other undesirable condition continues for a long period, lower the
image size or quality setting.
zNote that if you are using the optional recording software (RM-64/RM-25/RM-9 or bundled
RM-Lite), the amount of hard disk space used will also be affected during recording.
