Deactivating the Digital Zoom

If you prefer not to use the digital zoom (p. 56), you can deactivate it as follows.

Configure the setting.

zPress the nbutton, choose [Digital Zoom] on the 4 tab, and then choose [Off] (p. 45).

Magnifying the Area in Focus

You can check the focus by pressing the shutter button halfway to enlarge the image area in the AF frame.

Configure the setting.

zPress the nbutton, choose [AF-Point Zoom] on the 4tab, and then choose [On] (p. 45).

Check the focus.

zPress the shutter button halfway. The face detected as the main subject is now magnified.

zTo restore the original setting, choose [Off] in step 1.
