Customizing Camera Operation

Customize shooting functions on the 4 tab of the menu as follows. For instructions on menu functions, see “n ” (p. 45).

Deactivating the Lamp

You can deactivate the lamp that lights up to help you focus in low light conditions when you press the shutter button halfway or press the movie button, and reduces red-eye when shooting in low-light conditions with the flash.

Configure the setting.

zPress the nbutton, choose [Lamp Setting] on the 4tab, and then choose [Off] (p. 45).

zTo restore the original setting, repeat this process but choose [On].

Still Images

Changing the Image Display eriod After Shots

Change how long images are displayed after shots as follows.

Configure the setting.

zPress the nbutton, choose [Review] on the 4tab, and then choose the desired option (p. 45).

zTo restore the original setting, repeat this process but choose [2 sec.].

2 – 10 sec. Displays images for the specified time.

	Hold	Displays images until you press the
