Zooming in Closer on Subjects (Digital Zoom)

When distant subjects are too far away to enlarge using the optical zoom, use

digital zoom for enlargement up to the following zoom factors. A4000 IS Up to approx. 32x

A3400 IS	A2400 IS	A2300	A1300

Move the zoom lever toward i.

z Hold the lever until zooming stops.

XZooming stops at the largest possible zoom factor (before the image becomes grainy), which is displayed when you release the zoom lever.

XThe camera zooms in even closer on the subject, using digital zoom.

•Zoomed images may look grainy, under some resolution settings
