Shooting – The Basics
Continuous Shooting
Use this mode to shoot successive frames
while the shutter button is pressed.

Press the FUNC. button.

Select * (Drive
Mode) using the
up or down
button.

Shooting
Use this mode to view the
images on the LCD monitor as
you shoot continuously. The
shutter interval is longer in this
mode than in mode.
High-speed
Continuous
Shooting
Use this mode to shoot
continuously with a short
shutter interval. You cannot
check images while shooting
continuously.

Select or using the left or
right button and press the FUNC.

Press the shutter button halfway
to lock the focus.

Press the shutter button all the
way to shoot.
zShooting will stop when the shutter button is
released.
zThe shooting speed is as follows.
When is selected:Approx. 1.5 shots per
second*
When is selected:Approx. 2.0 shots per
second*
* Large/Fine mode with LCD monitor off (These
figures reflect Canon's testing standard. The
actual figures will vary according to the
shooting conditions and settings.)
zThe interval between frames may
lengthen somewhat when the internal
memory becomes full.
zThe flash can be used, but the interval
between shots will lengthen to
accommodate the flash recharge time.
