Removing the Protective Tape and Protective Sheet
Before using the scanner, remove the protective tape and protective sheet that protect the scanner from damage during shipment.
1.Remove the protective tape that is attached to the exterior of the scanner.
2.Open the paper feed tray and remove the protective tape that is inside the scanner.
3.Gently raise the upper unit and remove the protective sheet.
After removing the protective sheet, return the upper unit to its original position.
