Noise can be heard along with the recorded sound
-When recording sound with an external microphone, the interference caused by wireless communications may be picked up and recorded as noise. We recommend turning off the wireless communication while recording (0147).
Sound is distorted or is recorded at lower levels.
-When recording near loud sounds (such as fireworks, shows or concerts), sound may become distorted or it may not be recorded at the actual levels. Activate the microphone attenuator (0154) or adjust the audio recording level manually (085).

Memory Card and AccessoriesCannot insert the memory card.
-The memory card was not facing the correct direction. Turn the memory card over and insert it.

-The memory card is full. Delete some recordings (059, 108) to free some space or replace the memory card.
-Initialize the memory card (042) when you use it with the camcorder for the first time.
-The LOCK switch on the memory card is set to prevent accidental erasure. Change the posi- tion of the LOCK switch.
-A compatible memory card must be used to be able to record movies on a memory card (037).
-The folder and file numbers have reached their maximum value. Set 88[Photo Num- bering] to [Reset] and insert a new memory card.
The wireless controller will not work.
-Set 68[Wireless Remote Control] to [On].
-Replace the battery of the wireless controller.
