NOTES

•Movies recorded with the [z24F] frame rate cannot be converted to standard definition using the camcorder. If you want to upload your movies to video sharing Web sites, set the frame rate to [EPF24] or convert the movies to standard definition using the supplied software VideoBrowser.

Advanced Image Stabilization

The image stabilizer reduces camcorder blur (blur due to the cam- corder moving) so you can get nice, stable shots. Select the image stabilization mode according to the shooting conditions.

Options ( Default value in

mode)

[PDynamic] (

mode only) Compensates for a higher

degree of camcorder shake, such as when shooting while walk-

ing, and is more effective as the zoom approaches full wide

angle.

 

[QStandard], [QOn] Compensates for a lower degree of camcorder shake, such as when shooting while remaining sta- tionary, and is suitable for shooting natural-looking scenes. Use this setting when recording movies with the optional Wide-converter or Tele-converter.

[jOff] Use this setting when the camcorder is mounted on a tri- pod.
