Shooting Mode

Setting the red-eye reduction function* to [On] causes the red-eye reduction lamp to fire with the flash.

*This function reduces the effect of light reflecting back from the eyes and making them appear red.

Setting the Slow Synchro Function

Shooting Mode

You can shoot with the flash at slow shutter speeds. This is handy for shooting at night or under artificial lighting indoors.

You are recommended to fix the camera to a tripod to shoot in this mode.
