IMPORTANT

Observe the following precautions while the ACCESS indicator is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss.

-Do not subject the camcorder to vibrations or strong impacts.

-Do not open the memory card slot cover.

-Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder.

-Do not change the position of the mode dial.

You may not be able to play back with this camcorder movies recorded on a memory card using another device.

NOTES

Depending on the recording conditions, you may notice brief stops in video or sound playback between scenes.

Sound from the speaker will be muted when you close the LCD panel.

Use a pair of headphones when you want to use the viewfinder for playback.

Special playback modes

To enter the special playback modes, you can use the buttons on the LCD panel or wireless controller ( 19). There is no sound during the special playback modes.

Fast playback

During normal playback, press or

. Press again to increase the playback speed to approximately 5x 15x 60x the normal speed.

Slow playback

In playback pause mode, press * or

. Press again to increase the playback speed 1/8 1/4 the normal speed.

*Slow reverse playback will look the same as continuous frame reverse.

Frame Advance/Reverse

In playback pause mode, press or on the wireless controller to

reverse a few frames (approx.

0.5seconds) or to advance one frame. Hold the button pressed for continuous playback.

Skipping scenes

During normal playback push the

joystick ( ) or press on the wireless controller to skip to the next scene.

Push the joystick ( ) or press on the wireless controller once to return to the beginning of the current scene or twice to skip to the previous scene.

Ending special playback modes

During any special playback mode, press / on the camcorder or on the wireless controller.
