Adjusting Monitor Screen Brightness (Screen)
Procedure

Auto | With this setting, the camera detects available light levels and | |
automatically adjusts the brightness of the monitor screen accordingly. | ||

+2 | Brightness that is greater than +1, which makes the screen easier to view. | |

+1 | Bright setting for outdoor use, etc. Brightness that is greater than 0. | |
0 | Normal monitor screen brightness for indoor use, etc. | |
Low monitor screen brightness for nighttime use, indoor use under dark | ||

Auto Image Orientation Detection and Rotation (Auto Rotate)
Procedure
[MENU] * Set Up Tab * Auto Rotate
On | Automatically rotates snapshots shot with the camera held vertically 90 | |

Off | Images not rotated automatically. | |

The camera automatically detects whether a snapshot image was shot in portrait or landscape orientation and displays it accordingly. Auto rotation is not performed for movies.
