1.Remove the lens cap from the lens.

2.Open the monitor screen to turn on the camera.

•You can also turn on the camera by pressing the power button.

3.Align the mode dial with “” (Snapshot mode).

•This causes “” (Snapshot mode) to appear on the monitor screen.

4.Point the camera at the subject, use the monitor screen to compose the image, and then press the shutter button half way.

•When the camera finishes its Auto Focus operation, the focus frame will turn green and the operation lamp will light green.

5.Holding the camera still, gently press the shutter button all the way down.
