Using the Self-Timer

With the self-timer, pressing the shutter button starts a timer, and the shutter is released and the image is shot after a fixed amount of time.

Self-timer is disabled.

1.In the REC mode, press [MENU].

2.On the “REC” tab, select “Self-timer” and then press [X].

3.Use [S] and [T] to

select the self-timer type and then press [SET].

This causes an indicator identifying the selected self- timer type to appear on the monitor screen.

4.Press the shutter button to shoot.

NOTE

You can also use the Panel (Operation Panel) (page 54) to change the self-timer setting.
