Transceivers and Connectors Supported by the Cisco Nexus 2248TP-E FEX
The Cisco Nexus 2248TP-E FEX supports SFP+ Ethernet optical and copper transceivers and optical
FEX Transceivers (FETs) for up to four fabric uplink connections to Cisco Nexus 7000 Series switches,
and it supports RJ-45 connectors for up to 48 downlink connections to hosts. For each uplink cable, you
must use the same transceiver on both ends. Table 2- 2 lists the transceivers supported by this FEX for
its uplink fabric.
