A Cisco recomenda a utilização de dispositivos externos de boa qualidade (como, por exemplo, auriculares) com protecção contra sinais de frequência de rádio (RF) e de frequências de áudio (AF) indesejados.

Dependendo da qualidade destes dispositivos e da sua proximidade a outros dispositivos como telemóveis ou rádios de duas vias, pode ainda ocorrer algum ruído acústico. Nesses casos, a Cisco recomenda que adopte uma ou mais das seguintes medidas:

Afaste o dispositivo externo da fonte de sinais RF ou AF.

Afaste os cabos do dispositivo externo da fonte de sinais RF ou AF.

Utilize cabos com protecção para o dispositivo externo ou cabos com uma melhor protecção e conector.

Reduza o comprimento do cabo do dispositivo externo.

Aplique ferrite ou materiais idênticos nos cabos do dispositivo externo.

A Cisco não pode garantir o desempenho do sistema porque não tem controlo sobre a qualidade dos dispositivos externos, cabos e conectores. O sistema terá o desempenho adequado se forem utilizados dispositivos adequados com cabos e conectores de boa qualidade.
