56K Statement
The Cisco AS5400 56K modem cards can send data at a rate up to 56 kbps and receive data at a rate up
to 33.6 kbps. However, the actual speed that you can achieve with the card depends on the condition of
your local telephone network.
Actual speeds vary depending on line conditions. Due to FCC limitations, speeds in the United States
are less than 56 kbps.
