Management Port

Step 1 Connect one end of the RJ-45 crossover cable to the RJ-45 port (labeled CONSOLE) on the supervisor.

Step 2 Connect the other end of the cable to the appropriate port on the PC or terminal to complete the console port cable connection.

Management Port

The management port provides an Ethernet port to a LAN for a 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T connection for network management.

Step 1 Connect one end of the RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port (labelled Management on the supervisor card).

Step 2 Connect the other end of the cable to the appropriate port on the PC or console to complete the management port cable connection.

Cabling the Cisco RFGW-10 UEQAM

The following tools are required for the Cisco RFGW-10 coaxial termination:

12 universal cable holders UCH2 (supplied in the accessory kit)

T-10 TORX driver tool

¼” flat head screwdriver

MCX terminated cable bundle (optional)
