How To Clean The Motor Filter

Clean the motor filter whenever it is dirty. To clean the motor filter, follow this procedure:

1.Open the tank assembly.

2.Remove the filter bag.

3.Remove the filter, see figure 16.

4.Wash the filter in water.

5.Put the filter in a cloth and apply pressure to dry the filter.

6.Replace filter

CAUTION: Check the motor protection filter while changing the paper bag. Please change the motor protection filter after use of 6 paper bags.

7.Install the filter bag.

8.Close the tank assembly.

How To Replace The Brushes

1.Put the machine on its side.

2.Turn the knobs which secure the nozzle plate. See figure 17.

3.Remove the nozzle plate.

4.Remove the brush assembly.

5.Install the new brush assembly.

6.Install the nozzle plate, and screws.

7.Put the machine on its wheels.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts, unplug before servicing.
