TROUBLESHOOTING

The SKIP and SEARCH functions are not working.

•Some DVDs are programmed to disable SKIP and SEARCH during certain sections (e.g., the Warning section at the beginning of DVD discs).

•SKIP and SEARCH cannot be performed when playing single-chapter discs.

The remote control doesn’t work.

•Ensure that there are no obstacles between the remote and the player.

•Point the remote at the remote sensor on the main unit.

•Ensure that the batteries in the remote retain a charge and have been in- stalled correctly.

•Try replacing the batteries of the remote control.

The player has malfunctioned.

•Unplug the player. After 30 minutes, plug in and power on the player—the restore function should reset the player.
