Either a PS OFF/ON or a dummy replace of the CHT board will be required for the subsequent loadingof 
flash memory.

Do not set MODE 247=ON if the subsystem is already connected to Tru64 with old microcode. 
Set MODE 247=ON if the subsystem is to be newly connected toTru64 with 01-18-92-00/00 and later. 
Note:  The function of MODE 247 is suppressed when MODE 198 =ON. 
ON:  Mandatory setting when Tru64 is connected. 
OFF:  Tru64 should never be connected with this setting. 
Microcode level:  01-19-92-00/00 and higher.
